NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at an election to be held in the Village of Spring Valley on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 the following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed whose term will expire on April 19, 2021. The term of the village trustee begins on April 20, 2021. All terms are for two years unless otherwise indicated.

Three residents have turned in nomination papers and will be on the ballot for Village Trustee in April: David Lien, Ruth Lukes, Liz Erickson. A sample ballot will be posted as soon as they come in from Pierce and St. Croix Counties.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that the first day to circulate nomination papers is December 1, 2020, and the final day for filing nomination papers is 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Nomination papers are available at the Village office. Nomination papers are to be filed in the office of the Spring Valley Village Clerk, E121 So. 2nd Street, Spring Valley, WI.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that if a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.

DO NOT WAIT TO REGISTER OR REQUEST AN ABSENTEE BALLOT!! Open registration ends on January 27, 2021 for the Spring Primary and March 17, 2021 for the Spring Election, which means you can submit forms via US mail, email (clerk@springvalleywi.com) or drop off completed forms outside the village main door. After those dates you must register in person, in the clerk’s office and be issued a Certificate of Registration or register on election day which will take approximately 1/2 hour to process before you even get in the election room to vote. If you wait and need to come into the clerk’s office, remember we are closed to foot traffic due to COVID. You will need to make an appointment and wear a mask at all times while in the village building.
